"Hey Girl" Photo Challenge

I Heart Faces is having a photo challenge! The challenge is "Hey Girl". It must be a picture that has a girl's face in it. Since I just did Sarah's pictures....

Happy 6th Birthday, Sarah!

This cute little girl turned 6 last Saturday! Sarah just knows that she's the little princess! She loves to dance and cheer. While taking these pictures, she showed me a few of her moves.

 How can you say no to that sweet face?!

 She is working it!

 She is just too cute!

The whole time we were doing this shoot "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" was playing in my head. Sarah was so fun to work with! I told her mom that I think I have just found my new model!

P52: Week 16-Things that Grow

This week's challenge at My 3 Boybarians is "Things that Grow". We got Buster one month ago as of April 17. And boy, has he grown! He has gained 2.5 lbs and is doing so well with his house-training. Yes, he is spoiled...

Little Tiana

I had the pleasure of photographing a precious little girl yesterday (and today because I didn't like the way some of the pictures came out). She was fussy at first but seemed to settle down after we had taken her clothes off. I think this picture is my favorite so far...

Baseball Season Has Begun!

I am not big on baseball...everyone knows I am a football fan. But because my youngest loves to play, I have to be there.

Last week, I was asked to take pictures of another game that started before my son's. Little did I know...I was taking pictures of the wrong teams! I was at the wrong field! But I still got some wonderful shots!

My son's game was later in the evening. I do not like taking pictures at night because I don't have an external flash and I really do not like using my on camera flash. So I had to put a little more effort into editing these.

Harleigh's First Birthday

It is so hard to believe that Harleigh is 1! I was blessed with the opportunity to capture her first birthday party. Lord knows I would not miss this day for anything...even with a back injury..lol. She was the center of everyone's attention.

She loved being on the trampoline even though she was giving me a heart attack the whole entire time she was on it.

She wanted to ride on her bubble lawnmower instead of pushing it...

She got tons of presents but really loved her dolls...

Her princess cake was beautiful!

She even had a cake of her own to smash!

I think she loved it...what do you think?!

Life Lessons

Ok...this is the first time I am doing this so please bear with me.

Some things I learned this week:

1. There are not enough hours in the day! Homework, exams, photography, looking for a job, and managing a household...this girl is worn out!

2.I need to use this spring break that is coming up to get caught up on all my homework.

3. When taking action pictures, I need to have my camera on AF-C (Continuous-servo AF) mode. (I actually knew this, just had a "duh" moment)

4. Looking for a job is not easy!

5. I really cannot function without at least one cup of coffee.

6. Spring is here because my allergies are kicking my butt!

7. Zumba is not just a video game on the Wii...

8. After doing Zumba, everything in (or on?) my body hurts!

9. That means it working and I am actually getting some exercise.

10. I will never be a size 2 again!

11. My second home is the grocery store ( I am there every day)...

12. I always manage to forget something every time I go to the store.

Where You Work

Today's photo challenge is "Where You Work"

It's a mess, I know...I have some cleaning up to do. I don't work outside of my home. I am currently going to school full time and running my own photography business. This is where you will usually find me doing "work", if I am not on a location doing a session, or at the school taking an exam.

Got busy and got behind on my February Photo Challenge. So here goes...

Feb. 19-Something you hate to do

Folding and putting away laundry. I will wash it all day long but I seriously dislike folding and putting it away.

Feb. 20- Handwriting

Best way to capture my handwriting is through the homework I am ALWAYS doing...maybe that should have been my picture for "something I hate to do" also....ugghh...anyway...

Almost forgot about the photo challenge! This is one of my drinks of choice...Sprite and Captain Morgan's.

Time

I tried so hard to come up with something creative but I couldn't...well, I did but it would be more than one picture.

When I took this not only was it for the challenge but I was thinking "wow, where did the time go?" I did homework most of the day and couldn't believe how late it had gotten.

The "time" I had really wanted to do was " Family Time" which we had tonight but it was more than one picture...oh well!

Something New

My "something new" came yesterday! YAY! Oh...sorry. Still a little excited...

I Heart Faces: Family Fun

I Heart Faces photo challenge this week is "Family Fun"! I took pictures of the kids playing football yesterday for this challenge but they did not come out good in any kind of way. So I am entering this picture from the last time I managed to get them together.
