The Colors of Fall

I love the colors of fall.
I may live in the south but I am actually a northern girl. I lived in upstate New York when I was a little girl. The colors of the fall always make me remember "home".

Do I Follow My Heart?

A couple of years ago, I decided to go back to college.

OMG! What was I thinking?! I know I should be proud of myself and push myself to get my degree...but seriously....what was I thinking?!

I am a mom who is constantly going to some sporting event that one of my children have. If it's not practice, it's a game.

I try to get all my homework done and study and all...but my schedule is so busy. Not only that...I am not going to school for my dream job. I am going to school for accounting. Ummm...hello...my dream job is to become a photographer! The intellectual side of me is saying, "There is money in accounting". My creative side is saying "Follow your heart". Yes, the accounting is good for running my own business with photography, but...my heart isn't in it.

Growing Up

My youngest is growing up! He will be 11years old tomorrow and I find myself a little emotional. He will always be my baby boy...I can't say that in front of his friends though!

That's My Hornet!

One thing this family loves is football.

My son's second word (after "dada") was "ball". He eats and sleeps "football". That is all that is ever on his mind.

I got these great pictures of him and his coaches last Tuesday at his game.

Harleigh (at the park)

As you can probably tell, I love photographing this baby girl! We had to do a second session because we were rained out on the first try (we did that shoot indoors).

Harleigh is such a sweet baby! She is so curious and loves to look at everything. Every time I would call her name, she would look at something else.

We chose Glencairn Gardens as our location for the shoot. Being that we are now in the fall season, most of the flowers were gone and there was some construction going on. We worked as best we could with it but I think we will be doing another shoot in another location.... :-)

This little one has definitely stolen my heart!
